The Staff selection commission MPR has released the much awaited  SSC CGL 2016 -17 Official Notification.

Highlights of Notification:(To Be Published In Employment Paper)

1. The Commission reserves the right to make changes in the scheme of examination such as conduct of Tier-I and Tier-II examination in computer based mode, treating Tier-I examination as only qualifying etc.


2. Interview component has been dispensed with. There will, therefore, be no interview.


3. PAPER 1: QUANTITATIVE ABILITY
   PAPER II: ENGLISH COMPREHENSION AND LANGUAGE
   PAPER III: STATISTICS
   PAPER IV: GENERAL STUDIES{FINANCE AND ECONOMICS}
   1.Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
   2. Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Compiler.
   3. Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit
   4. Candidates opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr.II and Assistant Audit Officer must ensure that they possess the requisite qualification as mentioned above. Commission reserves the right to take appropriate action against applicants who do not possess the requisite eligibility while opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer.
